General conditions Domaine Lacanal

The general terms and conditions apply to a booking / reservation and the stay at Camping Domaine LaCanal.

Definitions

Tenant - the person who has entered into an agreement with Camping Domaine LaCanal regarding a place for a definite period of time. Fellow holidaymakers are the other persons indicated on the agreement.
Third - any other person, not being the tenant or fellow holidaymakers.
Camping pitch - the place agreed between the holiday maker and the Camping Domaine LaCanal for a designated camping equipment.
Camping equipment - a tent, and trailer tent, a caravan or a motorhome.
Accommodation - a facility for a person's stay for a certain period. Holiday home, rental tent, chalet, etc.
Reservation- an agreement between the tenant and Camping Domaine LaCanal regarding the right to use an accommodation or site for a pre-agreed period and fee.
Cancellation - written cancellation of the reservation by the tenant before the start date of the stay.
Camping regulations - the written regulations with the house rules for the use of the site and the facilities.

Price and price changes

The price is agreed based on the rates applicable at the time of booking. Prices as laid down in the reservation agreement are binding, subject to errors.
The prices are exclusive of tourist tax and any levies. The amount of this depends on the amounts determined by the municipality. For the determination of the number of persons per booking period, the maximum number of persons staying at least one night applies. Earlier departure does not lead to a refund of tourist tax and levies.
No rights can be derived from these prices. Errors and or changes subject to change.

To reserve

Reservations can be made via the booking module on our website.
Camping Domaine LaCanal only accepts bookings from people over 18 years old. We reserve the right to refuse a reservation at any time - without stating reasons.
After receiving an online reservation via the website, we will process the reservation request and email you the confirmation with payment details within 24 hours. You must check this reservation confirmation for correctness. If you believe that the confirmation contains inaccuracies, you must report this immediately.
The deposit as stated on the reservation confirmation must be paid immediately (within 48 hours after receipt). If the deposit is not paid within the stated period, we have the right to cancel this reservation. In that case you owe € 25 administration costs, which will be charged.
The remaining amount must be paid before the date stated on the booking confirmation.

If you book a last minute holiday within 6 weeks before departure. Then no deposit is applicable, but we ask you to pay the entire travel sum immediately.
Amounts that have not yet been credited to the account upon arrival at Camping Domaine LaCanal must still be paid on site.

A reservation is an agreement between the tenant holiday maker and Camping Domaine LaCanal Camping Domaine LaCanal, a reservation made cannot be transferred to another or third person.

Arrival and departure

Rental accommodation : Arrival from 4 pm to 8 pm and departure before 10 am.

Pitch : Arrival from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and departure before 12 noon.

Unforeseen late arrival : If you expect to arrive later than planned after 20:00 , please inform us as soon as possible on 0033 (0)5 63 37 25 10. If you are not within 24 hours of the agreed date without further notice arrived, this is considered a cancellation.

Cancel

Cancellation is only possible in writing by post or email, the payment obligations below apply.

1. cancellation more than 3 months before arrival date 30% of the total booking
2. cancellation within 3 to 2 months before arrival date 50% of the total booking
3. cancellation within 2 to 1 months before arrival date 90% of the total booking
4. cancellation within 1 month before the agreed arrival date, the full rent is due 100%. Even in the event of early termination, the full rent remains due.

A reservation is an agreement between the tenant and camping Domaine LaCanal, a reservation made cannot be transferred to another or third person. If the place is reserved and paid for by a third party through the tenant's mediation, only the administration costs of € 25 will be charged.

No reservation costs

If you want to make a change to the specified reservation (if possible) after the date of the first payment, we do not charge an administration fee. We also do not charge administration costs when you make an additional booking or make an additional reservation.

Clean bed linen and/or towel package

If you want clean bed linen and/or a towel package in between, you can. The linen and towel packages can be handed in and collected at the reception.
The number of clean sets collected will be charged.

Final cleaning & minor maintenance

The accommodations are delivered clean so that you will find fresh and clean accommodation on arrival.

You must leave the accommodation tidy and 'broom clean' and you must have done the following:
• Washing up; clean used kitchen utensils, cutlery and pans
• Collect bed linen and towels. Remove rented bed linen from the beds.
• The garbage can, glass and paper. Put waste in a garbage bag, put glass and paper in the appropriate container.
* Leave the refrigerator clean and empty.

If you fail to do so, you will be notified within a week. The actual additional costs for clearing and cleaning will be charged, with a minimum amount of € 75.

Camping Domaine LaCanal always has the right to enter the rented accommodation(s) for inspection and/or to carry out maintenance work.

The tenant, co-tenant(s) and/or third party(s) are not permitted to dig, cut trees, prune shrubs or carry out any other activity of such a nature on the site.

Place extra camping equipment

Multiple camping equipment on one camping pitch (may) be allowed depending on the accommodation, the dimensions of the camping equipment and/or the pitch. Camping Domaine Lacanal reserves the right to charge extra costs per camping equipment.

Facilities - amenities

Not all facilities and catering are open all year round. Camping Domaine LaCanal reserves the right to make changes to the layout and opening times.

Visitors

The tenant is personally responsible for registering their own visitor(s) at the reception. A daily rate per person will be charged.
It is not permitted to allow more people to spend the night than for which the rental accommodation is furnished or for which the camping pitch has been reserved. For visitors, visits during the day and in the evening may not lead to more than double occupancy.

Car-free campsite

For the campsite, rental tents and holiday cottages, tenants are allowed to drive on arrival and departure by car or motorcycle on the indicated roads to and from the accommodation, camping spot for loading and unloading the camping equipment and/or luggage. . Otherwise no car traffic is allowed on the site.

Take pets on holiday

It is allowed to bring (vaccinated and free of vermin) pets, you can bring a maximum of two pets. We charge a surcharge per pet. You must indicate that you are bringing pets with you when you make your reservation. Dogs must always be kept on a leash on the property. It is not allowed to use the furniture (sofa, beds, etc.) as a berth for your pet.

Swimming pool

For safety reasons, children under the age of 12 or without a swimming certificate are not allowed to enter the pool unaccompanied by an adult. Parents and/or supervisors must ensure that children who cannot swim wear swimming rings and/or a life jacket. An adult must always be present.

Liability

A) Camping Domaine LaCanal does not accept any liability for:

1. accident, theft, loss or damage of any kind, during or as a result of a stay at Camping Domaine LaCanal and/or burglary / the accommodation or the facility offered / provision. This also includes items left on the premises or in the accommodation by guests.
2. the breakdown or incapacitation of technical equipment and the failure or closure of facilities on the site and/or in the accommodation.
3. information provided verbally or by telephone.
4. inconvenience and/or nuisance caused by third parties beyond the responsibility of Camping Domaine LaCanal.
5. consequences of participating in activities organized in the field.
6. (printing) errors and mistakes that are recognizable as such, which are stated on the website or otherwise.
7. Disruptions in the service or defects in services provided by third parties, such as, for example, the bread to be delivered by the Bakker.
8. consequences of extreme weather influences or other forms of force majeure.
unless there is gross negligence or intent on the part of Camping Domaine LaCanal.

B) The tenant indemnifies Camping Domaine LaCanal against all claims with regard to damage from third parties that are (partly) the result of any act or omission of the tenant and/or his fellow travelers and/or other guests who act or for the benefit of the (co-)tenant at Camping Domaine LaCanal.

C) The (co-)tenant and/or his guest(s) are jointly and severally liable for all damage that will arise at Camping** Domaine LaCanal and/or any third party as a direct or indirect consequence of their stay. This includes, but is not limited to, damage caused by acts or omissions by themselves or third parties who are on the site through their actions and/or damage caused by any animal and/or property they have in their possession. Any damage must be reported immediately by the (co-)tenant and/or his guest(s) at the reception and immediately be reimbursed on the spot, unless it can be demonstrated that the occurrence of the damage is not due to the fault of (a theirs. The tenant is jointly and severally liable for the fulfillment of all obligations arising from the reservation and the stay,

Damage

It is not allowed to intentionally damage our property. In the unlikely event that something is accidentally damaged, we count on you to report this and to reimburse the costs incurred. Camping Domaine LaCanal cannot accept any liability for damage, injury, loss, theft, accidents and incidents involving tenants and/or visitors of the aforementioned tenant during their stay. You must take out insurance against this yourself. Ask your insurance adviser about the possibilities. Remaining (valuable) found objects can be sent with advance payment of the shipping costs.
